Default Board/Card games?

Does anyone here like to play board or card games?
A friend has gotten me started with Catan and I rather like it!

I haven't played board games in a while...some of my favorites are/were Life and Clue. Mad Gab is fun also, as well as Rummikub. I still play pyramid solitaire/13 a lot, as well as regular solitaire. When I get a chance, I like to play speed with someone.

Oh, and this isn't really a board or card game, but Farkel is one of my favorite games to play!

I love Clue! I don't particularly care for the new edition however. I like the classic cast much better.

For our family night this week we had a blast playing Last Word -- it has a nifty timer that is programmed to go off at random times, so it keeps things interesting in this verbal version of "hot potato." What I liked about it was that it created a fairly even playing field between members of my family.

Catan is pretty good--a strategy game that doesn't drag out as much as Risk. Apples to Apples is probably my favorite, though. Mostly because I pick more zany cards than accurate ones.
