Not trying to gloat or anything, just wanted to say: I've seen the film, and it is absolutely marvelous. And the final scenes are simply stunning.... moving and wonderful. Until you hear Aslan speak the lines aloud, they are powerful... but even moreso when you see him say them.
 
Well... let's put it this way... the first time I saw it, I was looking for people that I knew, and shots that I watched them film (little did I know I was watching them shoot some of the final moments on the Dawn Treader). I also watched them film a scene close to the beginning of the film. I do need to see it again, though, because I was watching for literally everything.

As we all know, the movie is not identical to the book.. there is some condensing done here and there, but when you see the final film you'll know why and how much sense it made to the story. And there are moments in it that will really strike a chord with people, and hopefully make people take a look at themselves the way that God sees them, and not the way they view themselves.

Thanks for the report. LWW also wasn't exactly like the book, but the changes made a lot of sense and they enhanced the story. If the same thing happens to VODT then I guess I can be hopeful.
 
I don't know what I can say, or how much I can talk about, but I'd like to address the new voice of Reep. It is absolutely perfect... it was a great move to recast. He hit all the right notes on Reepicheep.

I always said I would change my mind if I heard positive, credible reports from serious people. I still haven't changed all the way though, but I am considering it in a better light.

Lucy and I will see it tonight at a special screening, BK. We'll tell everyone more about it in here, and we're pretty sure you'll come around by December 10 ;)
 
You're lucky you got to see it before it premiere's worldwide. But, thanks for telling us on what you thought of the film. It makes me very excited to see it. I'm looking forward to it so much.
