Hey, I was just curious, how many of you are left handed, and how many right.

"LEFTYS RAISE YOUR LEFT HAND"
"RIGHTYS RAISE YOUR RIGHT HAND!" ;)

Haha. Im a lefty meself. Ya know what they say 'bout lefties. We are the only people in our right minds. Literally. The left side of your body is controlled by the right side of your brain. ;) Just makes us that much cooler, huh. Just Kidding.

I'm right-handed, but my dad is a lefty. I've always wanted to be a lefty, because it would be so much cooler.

I can do most things with both so I raised both hands!!! I am actually right handed, but a long time ago I broke my right arm in 3 PLACES, 3! just above the wrist. I was in a cast for so long that I had to learn to use my left hand. So yeah, I can pitch a mean curve ball with both HANDS!!!

The only drawback? Now my left KNOWS what my right hand is doing!! :D

I'm a lefty. :)
One in every ten Americans is left-handed.
The biggest drawback is if I write with ink or charcoal, I have to hold my arm off the page, or everything smears.
Best thing about being left handed? It's harder for people to see what I'm writing. Thus copying off my paper is pretty much a strike.

I am righhanded, but it is a shocking fact that, only a few years ago, if you were left-handed teachers at school would force you to write with your right hand, using the cane as 'incentive'.

If I'm remembering correctly, my grandfather can use both hands because he is really left-handed, but in school he had to write with his right hand.

My great-grandmother, I'm told, was like that. Back when she was in school, they would beat your hand with a ruler if you wrote left-handed.

 CRUELTY!!! DISCRIMINATION!!!! EVIL!!! :p haha. ya, my science teacher said that, according to statistics, more lefties are in insane asylums. I forever ignore that fact. My dad will also say that I probably wont be able to do certain things at his shop because I am a lefty. Well I showed him . ;) All these people criticize me for my left handedness. I mean, only last night, we were at my grandparents house making dinner, my dad had been trying to cut bread with the cutting board in the way that a lefty would have it, and he said "how can anyone do it like this?" My mom, who is a lefty, along with my grandma, cousin, bff, and someone else at church, said "Hey, watch it. You're in the minority here." cause it was Mom, Grandma, and me, all lefties, and then two rightys. (my brother and dad.) My mom is the best.
