So, as you may well know, the Hobbit comes out in 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *this is where you cheer really loudly* Yeah! :D In celebration of this of this wonderful story coming to life, and to pass time for the next year and a half... I think we should have a dwarf contest!

What: Make a banner (unspecified dimensions) using one of the recently released stills of the dwarves. You must include at least one of the dwarfs. You may not include, Bilbo or any other characters. Just dwarves guys! And come on, be unique... Don't all make one of Kili! :p

When: I will announce the deadline after I see how many people are interested in participating.

How: I will leave that to your imagination

Text to include: The Lonely Mountain or bust!

An example (without the correct text, obviously)... but feel free to be uber creative!

Oh my. How insurmountably blessed I am to not understand those emotions. :D

I'd love to participate!!!!! What I can do with the images will be limited, since I don't have GIMP or photoshop.... But it'll be fun nonetheless. ;)
 
Here's my entry! Certainly not the best... :rolleyes: But under the circumstances, I think I did about the best I could do. I did the blending with paint. It wasn't quite as difficult as I expected, but it was still a pain.
