Hello Loves!
Patrick really wanted to do a contest... So I decided I would host :p

This contest is inspired by a quote by C.S. Lewis:

"You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me."

For this contest you will be making:

~ one standard 100x100 pixel avvy
~ one standard banner 250x500 pixels
~ one wally with the dimensions of 800x 600 pixels (or standard size of your own computer)

The aforementioned quote must be included on the wallpaper. Further, you must also find a way to include books and tea pictures into your graphics set (though these items do not have to be included on every piece)

The first 10 entrants will be included in the contest.

Entries must be received by July 1st. And I will close voting on July 10 (which gives me time to adjust to moving)

:D

Entrants:

~Kayla
~Patrick
~Tom
~Lullaby
~QLTV
~Maggie
~D
~Tess
~Mike
~Lila

I'd like to enter! :)

So do we not have to put the quote on the banner, just the wallie? Also, what suggestions do you have about finding a photo big enough to be a wallie?

D,

Just on the Wally... but you can put it on whatever else you like

Get the largest size/quality picture you can so that if you have to stretch or manipulate it, you don't lose quality and end up with something that just looks awful. Just like when making avvys/sigs make sure that your canvas is the correct dimensions before adding your pics. Some people even add backgrounds to pics if the pic they want to use wont work with the dimensions very well.

Okay, thanks. :)

Don't forget to count me in!

EDIT: And here they are:

I used Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Picture Manager, and Paint (real high-tech stuff) for these. So they're not perfect, but I did what I could with what I have.

Hey Dears,

Could you please give me the links to your projects when you submit them (it makes it easier for me that way) :) Thanks!
