We know the Narnia film is hot. But it’s even more scorching than we realised. So fiery, it reduced a cinema projector to flames on New Year’s Eve.
Families galore were happily enjoying The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Werribee Plaza when the film cut out and smoke started appearing in the projector’s box.
Happily, staff sorted out the problem after a short spontaneous interval, just long enough for everyone to stretch their legs and for the kiddies to find those missing jubes under the seats.
Apparently, it had something to do with that 43C day we had, but we like our Narnia theory better.
