The Chronicles of Narnia has mesmerized generations of readers and millions of fans through the blockbuster film series. Based on the blockbuster film series and C.S. Lewis’ beloved fictional books, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition allows fans to tour scenes from the famed world of Narnia. Through authentic costumes, props and set dressings from the magical films, visitors will enter an immersive environment that combines the wonders of science with aspects of fantasy in the enchanting world of Narnia.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land will open to the public on Saturday, October 3, 2009.
The 43,000 square foot building and the surrounding 5.5 acres of land that houses HMNS at Sugar Land will be used to host a variety of permanent and traveling exhibitions. Using these exhibitions as a focal point, the Museum will also create a wide array of educational programs for area schools as well as the people of Sugar Land, Fort Bend County and beyond.

Opens Saturday, October 3, 2009!
Catch a glimpse of artifacts from Lewis’ personal study and experience exciting environments such as the famous attic and wardrobe. Visitors will also encounter falling snow, frozen waterfalls, and other interactive and instructive elements including a replica of the White Witch’s Throne where guests can sit and feel the chill; special areas featuring King Miraz’s Castle from The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, where visitors have the opportunity to build an arch as well as create their own animals based on the mythical creatures featured in the film. This special exhibition is a truly captivating and entertaining experience for all ages. More information is coming soon.
