The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’s director Michael Apted has spoken about the filming of the third Narnia in Australia. In particular, he speaks about the decision to shoot outside, versus inside of studio space that they have at Warner Studios. He mentions that shooting outside was perfect for getting great ocean views in the background of daytime shots, and that the studios were used for nighttime shots on board the Dawn Treader and otherwise. He also speaks about just how long he’s spent in Australia on the film, as well as his return home in early December. The film wraps production on Nov. 27th!
