Brand Marketing within Home Entertainment is responsible for all the strategies and budgets surrounding the DVD and Blu-ray release of the theatrical films. Position is within the new release team working on releases such as Wall Street 2, Marmaduke, A-Team and Gulliver’s Travels and Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
– Current projects and tasks that will be assigned to the intern(s):
– Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of The Dawn Treader Release Strategy
– Create a comprehensive competitive analysis of the first two releases, including release strategy, sales, creative and marketing programs
– Work in conjunction with brand manager to develop launch strategy including product development, packaging, placement and promotional ideas
– Small title pricing analysis (Adam, Gentleman Broncos, Beth Cooper, Post Grad, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Cyrus, My Name is Kahn)
– Premium up-sell SKU Analysis (Triple Play, 2-pks, SE)
– Assist in post-street recaps and analysis for Avatar, Toothfairy and Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief
Learning objectives:
– Learn Manager level brand marketing responsibilities within the new release brand team
– Includes business plan development, strategy execution and basic project management tasks
Qualifications: (preferred courses of study, computer proficiency, skills etc.)
– MBA with marketing emphasis
– Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
