In the Q&A following the virtual production of C.S. Lewis On Stage The Great Divorce Max McLean gave an update on the new C.S. Lewis motion picture from Fellowship for Performing Arts. The film adaptation of C.S. Lewis The Most Reluctant Convert has finished shooting and is now under editing. Craig Armstrong has been signed to provide the original score. This composer has also created soundtracks for Disney’s The One and Only Ivan and The Incredible Hulk (2008). The one man show has been expanded to a full cast with 15 actors shot at historical locations in England. The role of young C.S. Lewis is played by Nicholas Ralph who is best known for starring in PBS Masterpiece’s All Creatures Great and Small. This film is notable for being the first movie to ever show C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien together onscreen, but the actor for J.R.R. Tolkien has not yet been announced. Max McLean reprises his role as the elder C.S. Lewis. The film is expected to be released after Easter 2021.
