Edmund

Poem: A Silent forest all covered in white,
With a lonely old lamppost shinning so bright.

A beautiful lady with a grasp deadly and chill,
She asks me questions as I take my fill.

While my brother for a free Narnia fights,
I am tempted by Turkish Delight.

Now convinced she is right and my brother wrong,
I take my place in a traitors throng.

But with every hour I begin to see,
That this is not who I want to be.

I want to go back. I want to repent,
To have my blood though she is bent.

But a King of the land for my sake dies,
And with his life my freedom he buys.

Now crowned second I am called King Edmund the Just,
Of whom now everyone may trust.
