A duel wielder eh? I like that style too. However I prefer one sword, It's less intimidating, but a swordsman skilled with one blade can overthrow and waylay a less experianced swordsman with two.
The only problem with two swords is that you cant carry a sheild 
I would hopefully be skilled
I haven't had much experiance fighting with shield, I tend to fight with two handed or hand and half sword.
Shelid are heavy and burdening tbh with my double swords i'm quick and nimble
Well you could substitute a shield with a Buckler, they are light weight and allow you to detour a blade while still having your other hand free to plung your sword into your enemy.
My ideal opponet, are we talking about sparring or a duel to the death?

I'm sorry I ment Miraz, but instead I said Mizar which is character I created for a RPG. I would probably spare Miraz, but if he tired to abuse my mercy, I would drive my blade into his heart.
I would spare him, so that he could live and suffer the torment of prision or something Aslan might have prepared for him.
That's wouldn't bother Miraz though, because he doesn't believe in him. I would rather Aslan turn him into something 'unnatural' like a donkey.
