Hobbits are my favorite. I just wish I could be a hobbit sometimes, then it wouldn't matter than my 11 year old cousin is almost taller than me and my BFF is taller than my mom and SHE'S a couple months younger than me too. Also I'd have more fun running around that wooden playground if my cousins and I played hide-and-seek there.

Don't get me wrong, I adore the Halflings. I just find myself swept up in the majestic/enchanting realm of the Elves. I find their traditions, their dwellings, and their lore fascinating. The elven race retains a purity, a tranquil persona that none of the other races of Arda possess. They are elegent, competent, and highly intellegent beings, they have faced many ages of Middle Earth and seen a great deal of many things. I love thier craft, the designs of their cloaks, jewlery, abodes, and even weaponry. It is remeniscant of fairer world, one where beauty is untarnished and free to roam.
