Haunted House

"Whoa! Your kidding! That's..." Maria didn't know what to say. She was torn between the fear she felt from the ghosts, the desire to get as far away from them as possible, and the joy she felt for her friends who she always viewed as sisters and wanted to be happy for them. "You do realize they're..."

"Oh. Well..." She looked at the two ghosts rolling on the floor. She suddenly burst out laughing and held her sides in pain as her face turned red.

Tears rolled down the girl's face. She took a few deep breathes and fanned herself to catch her breathe. "I'm sorry, this is just so..." She suddenly realized what she was doing and laughed harder. She said through the laughter, "I'm...talking...to a ghost!" She fell on the floor. "This...is one for the records." She calmed herself down and looked at the onlookers. "Wow, okay. I'm really sorry about that. You two are James and Malakai, right? I'm Maria, nice to meet you." She giggled a bit more.

Maria smiled at him. "You know, it's a funny thing. I haven't. Until about ten seconds ago I thought ghosts were a myth. And here I am talking to one." She looked up at Heidi. "What a twist. I personally can't believe it, can you?" She looked back at James and simply shrugged.

Maria stared at James. "Well aren't you pleasant." She rubbed the back of her neck and looked at Heidi.

"Now what? I feel like I owe something. You weren't just right, you were dead right."She glanced at James momentarily, "No offense. But seriously Heidi, what now?"

"No, because you guys are fighting. I've always heard that ghosts stay behind because of unfinished business. Maybe...you can't cross over until you guys stop fighting and make amends." She shrugged. "Just a thought."

"Oh, okay. It was just a suggestion. Not that you really want to cross over any more." She winked at Heidi.

ooc:I gotta go. I'll get on as soon as I can. Hopefully this time I won't miss as much.:rolleyes:Later.
