Introduction Thread II

Hi, I am Manasi and I'm new here. I'm from India and a big fan of Narnia. I look forward to gaining more friends and having a good time here.

Hello! I am Ashley. If you're looking for a good time, you have definitely come to the right place. I've been here less than a month and I've already made some friends. It was a lot quicker than I'm used to. :)

Hi again, yeah, Ferny, the idea of Lewis creating this parallel world is amazing, I started reading the original first book for school, and then finished buying them all.

By the way, do you know where the wardrobe came from? That story surprised me the most! For those who´re lost, it´s in the sixth book!:D

Hello Manu! Hope you enjoy it here at the Dancing Lawn :)

Screwtape Letter is one of my fave books. I've found myself in so many of the situations described in the book.

Hi you! (sorry, couldn´t get your name XD) Me too, I reckon it´s pretty good the idea of Lewis by speaking like he thinks devil´s would act to guide us to his will; that concept of "devouring" meaning to subdue us totally to his will, it´s quite interesting :D

Bye!

Hi and welcome Manasi, Bronwyn and Manu!!! :D I'm Cleo, and I hope you enjoy your stay here at the Dancing Lawn. :] Please fasten your seatbelts and hold onto your sanity for when you take off to the Land of the Duffers *cough*

Narnia newbie!

Hi all. I am new to this site and forum, and I'm relatively new to Narnia as a whole. I saw and loved The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, but it wasn't until the imminent release of Prince Caspian that I decided to read the books for the first time. This seems to be a trend with me, as I did the same with Lord of the Rings, and Jurassic Park. I am currently reading Prince Caspian, after thoroughly enjoying the first three books (I am reading them in chronological order, not original publishing order).

Admittedly, I was, at first, a little underwhelmed about Prince Caspian (Due mainly to the 180 on Peter), but it grew on me in a big way the second time I saw it (and I actually changed my mind to an extent as far as Peter's characterization is concerned), and I have now seen it several times.
