Introduction Thread II

Just wanted to post my intro as a new user. You probably won't be hearing from me too much this week because I'm taking the California bar exam (three days of unadulterated joy... and by joy, I mean suffering), but I look forward to being more active in the future!
 
Greetings, I'm Laura, or Cafcow, or "Hey you." What ever you want, I don't really care, just don't say I'm a boy(I tend to get that a lot...). I just stumbled onto this form last night and joined. I might not talk much, I'm more of an observer. Always listening, but talking only when I feel the need to.
I'm kinda new to the world of Narnia, but not really. Got the books when I was a kid, and read LWW, but never anything else. The 2005 movie sparked my interest, and I started to read them, but lost interest for some reason(some other fandom probably caught my interest)... It wasn't till CoN:PC came out that I decided I was going to really read them. So I sat down and went through the first three(my books are in order of the year they were published). I was hooked. I read the last four in about two days while on vacation. Wonderful stories, love the books, the characters are awesome, and I hate what they did to Peter in CoN:PC. u.u

Anyhow, I am a Christian. I love to read, write, draw and play in pbpRPGs. I create my own stories and characters. I love fanfics(though I don't write them), hate fanfic OC's. I am a movie buff. I'm also like Anime/manga and video games. I also have a love of Transformers.

p.s. forgive me for any mistakes up above. Though I love to write, I am not very good. I wasn't very good at grammar in school till I gained the love for pbpRPs. So I'm still trying to learn stuff. ._.;;;

Go to your User Control Panel, and on the left hand side it will have links to change your avatar (the pic by your posts) and your profile picture (which only comes up when someone clicks on your profile). I think both can be uploaded straight from your computer by clicking "browse" or a link from a image hosting site.


Best of luck kf6tac! Maybe you could tell me how it is when you finish? I am studying for the LSAT right now and getting worried about what I am getting myself into. LOL!

I notice alot of Brits joining. Perhaps my plan to take over the forum and create a new Commonwealth may yet succeed!!
 
I registered over a week ago, and thought it about time I said hello and introduced myself to this great communitty!
I grew up on the books, my favourites being Prince Caspian, Dawn Treader and The Silver Chair, and recently got rekindled with them through the modern film series, which I also love.
I look forward to posting and reading on here, I will be around as much as possible!

Ok, I'm a bad forum member LOL. I've been a member for a while, but haven't introduced myself. Anyway, I am Niffum. Some of you may know me from another awesome Narnia site called The Lion's Call. I'm the forum administrator there and thought I'd come see how other forums were done and if I could get any ideas for ways to spruce up ours. TDL is awesome! And so are it's members(Big hug to Into the Wardrob, Eveningstar, Inkling and all those who visit us over at TLC) Anyway, that's me! :) Feel free to come visit us over at The Lion's Call. One thing I've noticed is each of our forums has a different focus, though we are all narnian. So come check us out :)

lovely spot here. i'm hoping to find time to read and post. homeschooling mom of 3 and one on the way makes it a challenge, but not impossible. any fans of poor old lu here?

Im PC and i am a HUGE fan of Narnia. Me and my family have a little Narnia book club on the third saturtday of every month. So that tells you it runs in the family. I hope to see you all around!:D
