Mod Q&A Thread II

I think posting in the Christianity forum and stuff falls under the category of modding...

BUT YOU FORGOT HB!! You talked about Derny, but you forgot the King! HOW COULD YOU?!

Q: Is there a limit on the number of non-questioning posts we can make in this thread? :p

No it doesn't, cuz that means lotsa people are mods who aren't.

Becaues he's never on anymore...he left after the Golden Age.

A: don't push them, this is for serious posts, and seriuos posts only, so the answer would be ZERO!

Right, that's it. No, polls can't be edited after they're created by anyone other than mods or guards. Do you have a particular poll you need adjusted? PM me the link and the changes and I'll take care of it for you.

We'd love to, but then we'd have to give everyone a ban button, and we've only got one of those - and some sharper even stole that one!

*harmonica moans in background*

So, somebody wants to know what it's like to be a mod, eh? What it's like to roam the wastelands of RPG threads you otherwise wouldn't visit without a speargun to your head? What it's like to have to wade through posts to see who did what to who first? What it's like to have to chase an argumentative member across forums and debate whether a temporary or permanent ban is best? Hmm?

*harmonica riffs plaintively*

Lemme tell ya, Buckskin, the life ain't fer everyone, nossir, it ain't fer everyone. There's a lot more to it than hangin' about the mod lounge munchin' oatmeal raisins and tossin' tennis balls at the ban button. Some days ya gotta saddle up early and ride late. It's much more than a job, it's a callin' - a way o' life. Ain't all as is cut out fer it, but fer those as is, there's somethin' special about it. Some days you'd rather chase a badger down it's hole than moderate, but there's those who wouldn't trade it fer nothin'.

*harmonica tremolos and fades away*

Now, if'n you'll excuse me...
