Stuff that has made you cry...

I don't cry like AT ALL. The only movies I've cried over are "The Yearling" "Old Yeller" and "Where the Red Fern Grows".

Lol! My great-great aunt used to live in Tahlequah, where Red Fern Grows takes place. (the old one at least). I've even been there, most of my life growing up, and to the bridge that's featured in the old movie. The general store from the original one is still there, though it's boarded up now. :D If I ever go back (my great great aunt has been dead for about 2 or 3 years) I will have to take pics.

I haven't cried in anything new...Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium always makes me cry, especially when it's coupled with the music. Despite all the criticism the movie gained, it's a great movie with a really great message and Dustin Hoffman is absolutely brilliant as Mr. Magorium.

I used to be like that. I laughed at people who cried during movies. :p Then I saw an edited version of "The Green Mile" on TV, and good grief, it was all over then. I'm an emotional wreck when it comes to movies now. I cry at the end of "Pride and Prejudice" because it's so happy and sweet!

Hmmm...
The Secret Garden (especially that scene where she dreams that she's a little girl who is abandoned by her mother)
Where The Red Fern Grows (gets me EVERY DARNED TIME)
Black Beauty (when Ginger dies)

Mostly animal movies...and I haven't seen those movies for a long time. But some that I HAVE seen recently:

Horatio Hornblower: Retribution (when Archie dies, I couldn't take it)
The Velveteen Rabbit (Okay, okay, it's a kid's movie BUT STILL!!)

I cried watching The Yearling and Old Yeller, both sad animal movies where the deer/dog is killed by their owner... :(

books make me cry, esp. ones with REALLY good endings... :p

and some songs can make me cry too, but I guess that's not really what this thread is focused on...:D

titanic ... ok which girl don't cry at this film XD
a walk to remember ... when jamies said, she had leukemia
moulin rouge ... when satine dies
the oc season one finale ... the complete "hallelujah"-scene

few things can make me cry
1.The MV by the Late Johnny Cash "hurt" still gets me
2.The Streets of Laredo done by johnny cash
3.ROTK ending both movie and book
4.Tears in Heaven
5.Im so Lonesome i could cry done both by Johnny Cash and Hank Williams

My sister and friend laughed at me for cying in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

I cried in Bridge to Terabithia, even though I haven't seen the entire movie yet. :(

I got teary-eyed at the end of "Ice Age"!

And I get emotional every time I see "Monsters, Inc." At the end, when Mike shows his hands and he has them all wrapped up from the splinters. That's just so sweet. :p

Schindler's list made me cry. A cruel and true portrait of Evil. The end was great, when all the Jews, he saved, gathered together.
And Schindler wasn't someone you would expect to be a hero, with his lifestyle. Never judge a book by it's cover!!

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

The soundtrack AND the movie. Actually...the end was so shocking that I couldn't cry. And I already knew the ending b/c I'd read the book...but it was just...SLAM. A phenomenal film but SOOOO sad :(

sometimes a song makes me cry, if it's like a sad one that i can REALLY relate to. example: i'm still here (it's one of the songs from the treasure planet soundtrack. awesome song!!)

August's Rhapsody In C Major.

(yes, from the movie August Rush. That song makes me cry sooo hard)

OMG I LOVE THAT MOVIE and the soundtrack!!!! Does make for a good cry. Actually, the guy who wrote the screenplay went to my high school :D

anyhoo...for another thing that makes me cry...

The parting of the Red Sea scene in The Prince of Egypt. It's just so powerful...
