As an electronic dinosaur, I only got into texting late in life. But now that I'm accustomed to it, AND ALWAYS ASSUMING that one does NOT text when it's rude or dangerous to do so, I find some advantages in texting.


Do you like "stand-alone" stories, or stories in a series?

 
Depends on where. I don't want carpet in a kitchen or bathroom, since in those rooms it could easily get wet and grow mildew. In those rooms I want a hard floor, with some small detached washable rugs to absorb spills. Also avoid carpeting a basement, unless you _absolutely_ know that the basement will _never_ be flooded. Elsewhere, carpet is good if _you're_ going to be on the floor. I fondly remember how my nearest-in-age sister and I used to play-wrestle on the floor, making up imaginary reasons to pretend to be angry at each other.



As for carpets, do you like them in intricate patterns, or solid color?
