The Either/Or Game

Saoirse Ronan! I've been a fan for years.

Sherlock or Elementary?

Awesome! Isn't she so amazing?

I haven't seen either of them, but I would go with Sherlock. I like the name better.

Bella Swan or Hermione Granger?

That's a tough one. I adore The Magician's Nephew, but I'll go with The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe because it's the story that introduced me to Narnia.

Artemis Fowl or Alex Rider?

"Dark Materials" author Phillip Pullman has a hysterical, toxic hatred for all faith in God, extending to a hatred of those who _serve_ God. He proved this when he wrote an essay titled "The Dark Side of Narnia," which I have read and critiqued. In this essay, he _lied_ about C.S. Lewis, calling him a racist in a heavy-handed attempt to discredit him. He also lied about Christianity itself, claiming that believing in Jesus and Heaven _means_ hating life and loving death. Therefore, by default, I like Mrs. Rowling and her Harry Potter stories better.

Now, speaking of the name Phillip, which do you prefer, straight-slot screwdrivers or Phillips-head screwdrivers?

I'm glad that you picked Harry Potter. I like His Dark Materials, but they touch a deep core or give me as much enjoyment as I get when I read Harry Potter.

I don't know much about the other Phillips screwdriver. So I will go with Phillips Head one.

Harry Potter or Frodo Baggins?
