Three Things On Your Mind V

1. I love fanfics.
2. I like ones that take place during the actual story line and are just like... little deleted scenes. xD That's the kind I'm writing for my friend.
3. I also like when people write a whole series/movie from the point of view of another character. So the storyline is the same, you just see it from someone else's thoughts.

1) I really wish my ear wasn't so plugged up, this cold is KILLING me.
2) I don't have a social life. I guess that's not the point though. It's strange how humans find things like friends to be SO important, and don't get me wrong, they are! It's just, having a social life and being popular is what we all (and especially me right now) long for. And then there ARE groups I could join (At church, with the homeschooling group, etc.) but these are NOT the kind of people I get along with because they are worldly, or just jerks. Our lives revolve around getting to heaven right? So why does being popular and having friends seem SO important when it really isn't? GR! :(
3) Yes that's what on my mind :p

1. One can never be too emerged in fantasy
2. Hyper, darling, being popular does not mean ANYTHING so don't you ever believe it does. I was in your shoes when I was your age. I just graduated high school and came to the realization of just how petty it all was. Don't let it get you down. If you don't want to hang out with certain people DON'T. Be yourself and you will inevitably draw like-minded people to you. Friendship is a spontaneous thing, you can't plan on it occurring.
3. Friendship is important. Popularity is not. Everyone needs someone they can confide in and be close to. If you count one person as a true friend it's worth a million false friends of someone with popularity.

1) Thanks!
2) I just feel like what's the point of anything anymore! Watching TV, doing FB, stuff like that, it means nothing.. And then it makes me question if I should even get married or not and if I should choose the religious life.. Kind of freaks me out. I WANT to get married, I'm just trying to decide spiritually what it would mean
3) :(

1. I'm gonna try my best not to sound condescending, because that's not my intention but, hun, you're only fourteen. Your wants and your dreams and all that are going to change. No one that I know of is doing what they wanted to do when they were that age.
2. Point being, you've got time! A heck of a lot of time. Don't feel pressured to decide right now.
3. Especially when it comes to marriage. My aunt was well into her 30s with the intention of remaining single before she met someone and got married.

1. ^ I knew what I was going to do with my life when I was 14, but I'm a writer, so it doesn't really matter when I start that. I mean, I don't have to go to college for it or anything....
2. I won't have time, but I really want to.
3. Never have a movie/play made about your life, you probably won't like it....

1. I can't believe how bad Order of the Phoenix was. >.<
2. Now I must watch Avatar TLA to purge my mind.:p
3. I am waaay to emerged in fantasy. xD

Do you mean the book or the movie? Nothing wrong with being emerced into something. I get emerced until art, books, and writing a lot. Sometimes its so much so that I forget the world around me LoL.

1. The movie. I didn't realize how good the book was until I saw the movie. o.o
2. I do that a lot. Like right now when- in my mind- I sent me, Dustfinger, Herbie and the Avatar gang to the starship Enterprise...
3. Still too emerged in fantasy.:p

I'm glad you said the movie was bad. I agree wholeheartedly that it was. It didn't do the book justice at all. When it first came out at the movies ten days before the final book, and I first saw it, it felt like it was such a big let down for us Harry Potter fans. That was a time when emotions we're running because the end of the series was upon us.
