What was the last thing you watched?

Thor

I enjoyed this far more the second time, especially now that I sympathize with Loki and actually like most of the characters because of the works of a brilliant fanfiction writer.

Walker, Texas Ranger season 4, discs 5 and 6. And Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel/Anne of Avonlea. And The Monuments Men (which was actually a pretty good film despite the language). And The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

And a football game. My Mississippi State Bulldogs barely pulled out a win over Kentucky, but they did. 7-0, onto Arkansas! :D

"Belle", based on a true story about a young woman of mixed race raised in an aristocratic family during the time of slavery in England. Very moving- watch if you liked the movie "Amazing Grace".

An old, old Western movie, like before World War Two, titled "Outlaws of El Dorado." Clayton Moore, who was later to make it big as the Lone Ranger, played a BAD guy in this!

Sleepy Hollow: And the Abyss Gazes Back (don't watch this show. It's creepy and ridiculous). I only watched it for about 2 minutes near the end. Had I realized my actor's bit part was only 2 minutes long, I would have waited for a video of just his scenes.

Part of The Young Victoria (2009).

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Because, if you think about it, that really is the perfect Halloween movie. Its got witches and wizards, fantastical creatures, dementors, a werewolf and a stalker.:p

Yes. And a really good adaptation it was. Although a lot of people I know don't think it was that well adapted, but it is compared to how they butchered GOF, OOTP and HBP.

The last thing that I watched was The Art Of Getting By starring Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore.

Its my favorite of the movies and books. It seems a pretty good adaption to me. Most of what they changed were small things. (I just read the book a couple months ago, so its fresh in my mind.)

Also, for the record, the 3rd book does not exist in ANY used bookstores or library sales that I have been to. But my cousin did get me 1st edition hardcovers of the 1st, 4th and 5th books from a library sale.:D

I'll admit the first three Harry Potter movies are the best adapted and most faithful to the books in plot and feeling of the Potterverse. That's strange that you haven't seen POA at any used book stores or libraries. Where I live, I have seen copies of POA numerous times at used book stores. libraries and flea markets. I even got the UK edition from a used book store.

Well, none exist where I live. Apparently everyone keeps the third book.

The only thing really missing from the third movie is the explanation of the Marauders- I remember having to explain that to my parents the first time we saw the movie. More recently, I had to re-explain to my mom who Padfoot was, because I named one of my kittens after him.:D:p

The last thing I watched was the second half/endish portion of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. That story has a ridiculously bittersweet ending. At least everybody lives though.
