Introduction Thread II

I am new here, I am currently makking a mod for Rome total war called narnia total war.

Yer, i just wanted to say high.

P.S I am not sure if this would be clasfied as spam but here is a few units for the mod ( i would post more but i think i am limited to four images :( :( . Also it is worth noting that the mythical beasts are beign worked on and will come some time next month.

Swordsmen

Info: The swordsmen are the standard Calormen militia. These troops are made up of the civilians of the Calormen cities, and due to this reason they lack discipline, although they do have skill in fighting.


also for credit it is not only me working on the mod there are about 8 of us ( i am the leader)

1- I have a good friend named Will, and this gives him good reason to make fun of me.

Hello, my name is Rachel, and I'm 33. I registered in order to praise someone's creative writing in the Professor's writing section; but since this is a Narnia forum, I had better say something about Narnia. I was introduced to the Lion, Witch & Wardrobe when I was about 4 or 5, when I saw a sensational cartoon film of it on TV. I cried when Aslan died! I read the book some time after that, and when I was in junior school, one of my teachers read the whole series of Narnia books out loud to the class. I seem to remember that the boy Diggory in the Magician's Nephew turned out to be the Professor, later in life?
 
Ok, so I've been posting for a little while without a formal intro so here goes:
My name is Michael I live in "Kahlefornia" *makes Arnold Schwarzenegger accent* and I have been a fan of Narnia for, like, forever.
For the past few months I have been reading the books to a cool little girl and she is so excited and happy to read of courageous and fearless human girls performing such amazing feats of faith and going on incredible adventures. It is a really special time to read to her! Righ now we are nearly at the end of HHB and we only have SC and LB left to read.
I still (and this girls also does) cry in many passages and my voice chockes almost everytime Aslan speaks. I mean... doesn't it happen to you? The last time I read with tears in my eyes was when Aslan tells Shasta how He was with Shasta all throughout his journey and tells him: "I was the Lion you do not remember..."

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know a little about me.

Oh, yeah, one more thing: I am also pretty bummed out that I only get 19.something Kb of space for my signature and I have'nt found anything suitable that is that small. It's simply horrid!

Thanks. I certainly found the LW&W thrilling, both the cartoon and the book. I'm afraid the sequels didn't make such an impression on me, as I don't remember so much about them.

Are there many other fantasy lands containing both a lion and a witch? The one that springs to mind is Oz.

Welcome here! And about the 19 kb thing...it won't work if you upload it directly from your pc to your account, but if you upload a pic first to a host like tinypic or photobucket and you copy the link and paste it in your siggy, then it will work when it is much larger. The maximum size is 550 by 200.
