I am pleased to announce the third consecutive TDL graphics contest!

Objective: Create one 200x500 banner and 100x100 avatar featuring an entrance to the land of Narnia.
Size: You do not have to follow the size guidelines perfectly. It's okay to fudge a little bit in order to fit a particular image, as long as you keep within the basic dimensions mentioned above.
Text: No requirements here! Put in whatever text you like, or even leave it out. It's entirely up to you.

Just to make sure that everything is clear, here is an explanation of what I mean by "entrance to Narnia".

You can take it literally and have Lucy in front of the wardrobe, Lucy exploring, the children in the train station or on the beach, or the picture frame scene from VDT. Even just doing this, there are enough variations that we should have plenty for everyone!

Or, if you would like to get creative, you can take images from Narnia and blend them together and create a fictional entrance which can capture the beauty and magic without being a direct screenshot from one of the films.

I hope this makes sense! If I've confused anybody, don't be shy about asking questions. :D

The first ten people to post saying they're interested and to chose a theme will be put on the list of entrants. Please make sure that your completed graphics are entered by the 27th of September, which is two weeks from today.

I enter somewhat hesitantly as I can only work on this when I'm at my house but hopefully I'll be able to pull something off. ;)
 
You're welcome! I know the banner isn't the greatest, but I really wanted the words to get in there! And I am still learning how to use my photo editing program! Hope everyone likes them!

Don't worry about it. We know you're still learning. :) I must say, the avatar is really gorgeous. ;) The colors are great! :D
 
I suppose I could join.. :) Maybe join with a beach scene like AslansChild did, or maybe doing the scene with the painting. I don't know, it comes down to what I feel like making the day I make it. :p
