Anyway Aslan can still be Aslan even without the religious identity like this example
Aslan having an Origin as a Lion who helps a Dorothy Gale can actually work in some area and to be more for an all audience area and giving Oz a connection to Narnia
Lurline may even get depicted as Emperor...
Presley can actually sound female coded as a given name
Now we could go with some merges that can actually work and can go to areas
Like what characters would end up merged with a Pevensie Sibling?
OK It seems the description of Jadis resembles Snow White for reasons unknown
Both have skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony
Of course there is Jadis having a Dwarf Minion
Not even sure if C.S. Lewis read Snow White to get inspiration or that some authors...
It may actually work if Aslan is depicted as a separate character from Jesus
And the sick being a doctor sounds like an interesting idea, Like the doctor being formerly sick only to recover and saving others from the same former sickness as the doctor
So what about character merge
Like maybe The Cowardly Lion of Oz having his name be revealed as Aslan (And being his own character as a result)
In a more conquering your fears and developing to be the savior character
What types of books can be merged and what characters will be composited?
For me, I pretty much have to go with a story that blends Narnia with Oz
Like the Lion of Oz as the same Character as Aslan but is different in backstory and unrelated and becoming an allegory rather than an outright...
Maybe an alternate story where Jadis is not related to Charn and just invades the city out of prejudice and charn being depicted as a peaceful city that gets attacked and destroyed
Can actually work as an external retcon similar to the Beowulf movie like going all the true story the writer gets...
Maugrim can easily be just depicted as some Cop who just saw humans as an evil race by falling for propaganda and gets spared by the adaptation (Like a certain character in Prince Caspian)
The Self-righteous levels can just have Jadis being a sort of dictator who just thinks that she is doing...
Well the villains are all just going either card-carrying villains or just usurping for selfishness without proper motive
Villains can feel more real if they have levels of either self righteous villainy believing their own evil actions to be good(And holy) or an Anti-Villain who is just law...
That sounds like a cool idea, I pretty much would imagine Aslan as an Anthropomorphic Female Lioness
The thread however is mostly towards if the creators of Pooh: Blood And Honey were to add Narnia to their shared horror universe and what changes it might end up with
It can be possible by the time of a Copyright Run Out
How would they make Narnia to this type of Pooh Slasher Thing and what changes of characters?
It may even end up with Aslan getting merged with a Lion from an unrelated book series just as how different wolves from unrelated books get...
Then again, there can be Non-Book people who may like the idea which draws a new fan club that has no idea of the book, but liked the story changes with not knowing of the book
Although that may be more of a rivalry of book vs adaptation
It may end up changing the lore to suit whatever audience
Anyway as I said about the idea of Tash being a Lion in a Mask
Mostly towards a setting of Aslan having a lion head and a humanoid body while Tash is a bird masked lion humanoid with four arms
Mostly on what happens if Narnia goes full on Animals with human looking bodies
The alternative is...
If someone uses some changes to alter levels of the Narnia story(Especially in a Copyright Expired Age)
Like what would you think of the idea of Tash being depicted as Aslan's Brother and son of the Emperor Above The Sea
It can go in either way like Tash turning out to be a Lion in a Bird Mask...
