    I believe my Sonnets thread is still on the queue.

    "First Love of Alipang" is a non-fantasy real-world story. In it, a childless Christian couple (based on my now-deceased first wife and me) adopts multiple children, one of whom, Alipang, is from the Philippines. Alipang has the toughness and boldness I wish I could have had as a boy. (As a boy, I was physically about the size of a field mouse -- not conducive to machismo.)

    Thank you! Did you ever read my on-forum novel, "The First Love of Alipang Havens"? On the same thread, I have been writing a LONG sequel, "The Possible Future of Alipang Havens," whose action takes place in the years 2025 and 2026. After more than two years working on the sequel, I'm almost finished with it.

    I think I read a little bit of Thoreau when I was younger...but I didn't understand much back then. I'll be sure to check out his books! Unfortuneatly I'm not sure they have it in English here...whoops.

    Oh, no big deal. I wasn't upset; I just think that anybody can direct the movies and still keep the spiritual themes in them. I love Amazing Grace, and Apted did such an amazing (no pun intended) job with it that I think he will keep spiritual themes intact. I think I trust him more now than I would trust Adamson.

    Oh, that's AWESOME!!! Yes, I am a waitress now. I think I'm one of the few people who actually enjoys it. I am very People oriented:) I guess for my fav thing it would be... Watching movies, anything w/ animals, or just hanging out with friends. Hard choice... maybe all three:)
