Yep. I was loathe to use it, since it may come in handy later. Yet I was counting the votes back and forth and I wasn't sure we'd have the count we needed. I'm more confident about future votes though, since fellow innocents showed themselves ready to vote. We might just win this game.

(ζώουσαι is a participle - I don't know whether you've learned it yet.)

I attempt to convince myself that I am not typically so late a sleeper. It was special circumstance, you see, with a paper and so forth.

My knowledge of Hume is mostly limited to his Scottishness, his skepticism, and his argument against cause and effect. I'll look forward to the paper.

I know.... Everyone does diss Martha for Mary, but in general, our culture values extroverts, and the church isn't immune. It's caused me massive guilt, past and present, because I'm extremely uncomfortable with the currently popular witnessing practices. They're great for some people, but, especially when I was a young teen in a church that valued "soulwinning" above all else, including prayer and Bible memorization, they caused me massive guilt. There's an article I found in WORLD on the subject--I'll have to email the text of it to you. It's refreshing to have someone say that introversion is created by God, and can be used by Him as much as extraversion!
