What Aslan said to Edmund

One wonders if one's first statement to the risen or returned Christ should be, 'I'm so incredibly sorry for what I did to you.' Edmund might have said the same thing to Aslan--once he'd heard about what happened at the Stone Table. He would know from Beruna, though, that Aslan loved him.

I like that nobody needed to know what was said. Aslan came out, said it was over, and Edmund was welcomed as one of them. There is something incredible about how simple the whole thing was when it was actually quite serious.
That is the beauty of Christ and what he did for us. A debt we could not pay has been paid. Though I would not call it simple and it is indeed quite simple. Both in scripture and in Narnia it took a living sacrifice, shed blood to pay for our transgressions.
