What is ONE thing you hope happens in the Netflix Narnia stuff, that you are concerned they won't do?

They need a way to make it clear that they’re not doing a one-to-one translation of the books. We spend way too much time discussing that than the actual content they put out. Maybe something like “based on the stories of CS Lewis” right at the beginning of each episode.

Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings? (Books Only)

I definitely connected with Snape and got into a few online skirmishes about him. I don't really care for his motivations, but I understand them. Definitely a complex character.

What is ONE thing you hope happens in the Netflix Narnia stuff, that you are concerned they won't do?

Walden skipped TMN. In the same way you say VOTD set up a sequel, LWW did the same thing with the Professor, and they went no further with it.

What is ONE thing you hope happens in the Netflix Narnia stuff, that you are concerned they won't do?

They skipped over TMN in order to do the three movies they did first. TMN was scheduled to be their 4th movie. However, Walden Media took too long and, not only was the main cast aging out, but their contract for the rights to the films with the Lewis estate expired in 2011, thus preventing them...

What is ONE thing you hope happens in the Netflix Narnia stuff, that you are concerned they won't do?

Because they knew they were skipping The Magician’s Nephew and it would’ve made total sense to give Jadis some backstory. But, that’s besides the point, since the point being made is that they cut all of that out and the story didn’t suffer for it.

Silly Ideas for the Netflix Narnia Movies

I think it might make more sense if that were Susan.

What is ONE thing you hope happens in the Netflix Narnia stuff, that you are concerned they won't do?

Im wondering if we’ll get Charn at all because TLWW left that out and it was just fine.

Narnia Characters That Could Be Expanded On

Well, we do know that it’s old because when Father Christmas came, his gift to Beaver was to fix it, which means that that probably would’ve needed to be done since the last time Father Christmas was in Narnia.

How Long Should Narnia Films Be?

I think it could be a good idea. They could use a two part story to answer the Susan question, like ASOUE did with the sugar bowl in the Netflix series.

What Are You Listening To Or Watching Now??!!

Watched Mr. Monks Last Case awhile ago. I’ve seen everything Monk and always have it on/interact with the fandom on YouTube. I hope “last” means something else and we get more Monk. I was very happy for the COVID update they did.

The Lord of the Rings- J.R.R. Tolkien

The Hobbit was said to be written by Tolkien for his children. Have they said what their thoughts are about it?

    CS Lewis and Enid Blyton

Phillip Pullman opposed Lewis and his writings on religious grounds. If Lewis didn’t infuse his writings with his faith, then Pullman likely would find little wrong with it.

    Jadis vs Jadis

I feel like the Disney Jadis gets an advantage because they had a larger budget.

The A Team would be very interesting traveling around meeting other teams/characters. Imagine The A Team just meeting King Cold, not even fighting him, just meeting and talking about/to him.

Narnia Characters That Could Be Expanded On

For an example, why did they build their house there? Was it a strategic position? They built that tunnel, so they likely built the home during Jadis’ reign.

You don't have to be Christian to love Narnia

I would really say that the stories are about a young adult going on an adventure and all of the things that come with that. There are relatable things, but mostly these are fantasy and supernatural stories. I’d say that there’s something that everyone can relate to; one of the main characters...

You don't have to be Christian to love Narnia

I just want to say that we should remember that people can get out of these stories whatever they end up getting out of them. If they end up discovering a deeper meaning great, but if they end up loving it as a whimsical adventure story only, then there's nothing wrong with that either. The...
