What Do You Hope That Narnia Films Or Series Get Right?

Well every time Tirian tried to make an important decision, Jewel would horn in... ;-) Thing is, he always made a good point.

    The Trinity?

Peepiceek, I think it comes down to how the persons are one in a Trinity. For instance, my heart does not scold my stomach over not pumping blood, nor does my stomach scold my heart for not holding food.

Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings? (Books Only)

Lord of the Rings is more original. I say that because (1) it feels that way and, (2) Tolkien was a professor fluent in many languages and familiar with many different mythologies. Someone lent him a tape recorder, which is why we have some recordings of him reading his own works. Jokingly, to...

    The Trinity?

Any analogy of the Trinity that does not make room for fellowship among the three persons is modalism and does not explain the eternal nature of love, a love that pre-exists creation. That's why I refer to the perichoresis...a dance like the hora in which the participants link hands in a circle...

    Romantic Relations Expanded In Narnia

There are so many holes in things that could easily be expanded on, that romance is rather low on my list right now.

What if Narnia Books Were Each A Musical?

We already know the Lady of the Green Kirtle and Tumnus play instruments...there's two.

    The Trinity?

As a creator rather than created, it may be perfectly natural for God to be a trinity. We assume that all life on earth has DNA, so wouldn't God have DNA too? No, he didn't originate on earth. He didn't originate AT ALL. So things that all life on earth has in common and finds perfectly normal...

What Do You Hope That Narnia Films Or Series Get Right?

Both Jadis and the Lady of the Green Kirtle were like Christ described, "those who enter the sheepfold over the fence...robbers."

    The Trinity?

Jasmine, the Trinity is actually quite an argument in favour of Christianity. It's not something someone invented to make Christianity seem more plausible to the average person, but something simply said because it is true and for no other reason. It has that eyewitness quality, unlike the...

    The Trinity?

The Trinity answers a vital question. Namely how can God be love, according to some understandings of theology. That being that God is this old man in a pink robe and slippers who hovers in a past-eternity in darkness and emptiness and then one non-day for apparently no other reason than that he...

What if Narnia Books Were Each A Musical?

What I'd love to do is music, not a musical. Basically to use my rather large body of knowledge about classical music to find music that could have been a soundtrack for The Magician's Nephew or The Last Battle. To give you an example, try looking on Youtube for "Tintagel" by Sir Arnold Bax. If...

What if Narnia Books Were Each A Musical?

"O, Wardrobe!" is a rollicking, magical adventure through hope, betrayal, love, torture and sacrifice. With 12 new songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, you will rock the Stone Table like never before!

Do you think Susan ever made it to Aslan's Country?

The second half of Copperfox's argument is probably the right answer. Marriage and children would have been very complicating when it came to where they BELONGED. Look at Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame...what did Mole and River Rat...or for that matter Mr. Badger...do for a living? And...

    Favorite Musicals

Gene Kelly is the only dancer I ever wept for. He had made an appearance in a special on TV, and because he could no longer walk he was behind a podium...which in fact was holding him upright. And the curtains parted...there he was. Later...significantly later...I saw an excerpt from the movie...

What Do You Hope That Narnia Films Or Series Get Right?

Agreed, Lava. I get the horrible feeling that many movies made today from classic books try to dumb down the plot to account for modern short attention spans. Which, by the way, are not one of mankind's greater achievements.
