Not only have they decided that it'd be smarter to film both "Prince Caspian" and "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" simultaneously, but in a case of either sheer lunacy or the biggest marketing crossover I have ever seen, they've also decided to rename the ship. The film will be called "The Voyage of the Black Rock." Where does this name come from, you ask? Anyone familiar with the first season of ABC's hit television show "Lost" can tell you a little bit about the Black Rock. Since Disney both owns ABC and is again co-producing "The Chronicles of Narnia," this seemed a natural fit. "Lost" will then spin-off a series called "The Lost Chronicles of Narnia," where the crew of Narnians will have a run-in with a group of renegades called the Dharma Initiative.

April Fools Day sure does cause quite a stir sometimes, does it not?
 
Are you kidding me????? That's rediculous! Is that already decided, or are they thinking about it still? Because if it's already decieded, we should from a mob and protest! GRR... :mad:
 
so they are gonna change the name of the Dawn Treader??? Why!!?? They are totally messing with Narnia!!..! It makes me sad :( and MAD! :mad:

That is the stupidist idea ever. You dont change the whole book around just to help market it. I'm glad it's Apral fools and that this isn't serious news. I would hate if they did that to the book!!!

hahahah... Yeah.. I think it was a little much, but the again, all of NarniaWeb's front page is a big april fools day joke, I figured one story was good enough for me. Didn't want to cause TOO much of a fuss.
 
oh phew!!! It was only a joke!! I was soooo sad!! But now im happy and now i think that whole love realtionship thing about susan and caspian is all fake now too!! I sure hope so...this is why i hate april fools day!! :(
 
Yea cuz they better not change nothin 'bout narnia!! Espeically the story line and names of ppl, places, ships, etc.
 
Yes and about Caspian and Su having a love realtionship in PC! Thank goodness that was a joke too! It would totally change the story linr
 
halleluja [sp?] it's a joke. that's actually what i suspected at first, but everyone was talking all serious... thank goodness its just a joke. rupert grint as trumkin?? i dont think so.

I actually believed you until you mentioned at the end of your post something about April Fools. I wouldn't put it past those people to do that stuff, though.
