I agree... the fifth one? Then yeah... also the Half-Blood Prince!! I cried when Dumbledore died and when they went to the funeral. 
I like Lupin because he's really nice, sweet, smart, the calming type. he doesn't do really stupid stuff that Harry, Ron, Hermione, HAGRID (grr don't get me started) and at times Sirius are prone to do. I think he should Marry Tonks. it might make him a little more cheerful and less serious as you say. the descriptions I find always describe him as mischevious.
