A Brush of Talent

There are probably other threads like this one, but I just wanted to open up for everyone with a beautiful artistic talent, such as any sort of painting, drawing, or sculpting. I myself enjoy painting and drawing, mostly wildlife, and am constantly searching for others to offer advice so I can improve. I know, here on Narniafans, there must be a wide variety of talents and interests, and I'm looking for that. If you want to post a drawing or painting feel free, but please no sketchy cartoons of badly dressed people or something of the like. Remember we are a Christian site. :D
I would love to hear replies and see pictures, especially if you have a beautiful sketch to show!

Wow this is something for me.I paint,sketch and draw very much..right now I mostly do Narnia related stuff (since I'm so obsessed with Narnia LOL),but I do many other things too.I'll try to post some pics of my masterpieces here :D

I paint and draw quite a bit...but I don't think I'm exactly very talented. :eek: Maybe I'll post some of my drawings or paintings. Right now I'm working on a sketch.
 
Here is that sketch I was working on... it's a bad picture, since I couldn't take it with my digital camera, and I don't have a scanner..but here it is anyways.

I think you can guess who these people are..

I'm not extremely happy with it, but I think it's okay if you don't pay too much attention to the faces. The only face I really like is Rachael Henley's. If anyone has tips or advice for me, I'd welcome it!

pfft, you need advice.. thats like the other way around.. I'm the one who needs advice.. I can't draw to save my life!

This might sound weird, but you actually have captured what the actual people look like... :)
 
thanks :) but I know you guys are just being nice...anyways...I'm really looking for ways to improve. but no matter how I see something in my head, it somehow gets skewed...

nice, haha, if I thought it was bad.. well you know me.. I wouldn't be able to keep it inside of me, lol.
You saw my 'confetti' painting.. this is much better, even if mine is paint and yours is a sketch!
 
Alrighty, I decided to try my hand at sketching that same picture one more time...

except this time it's a close-up of Rachael Henley, with Andrew Adamson and Noah Huntley around her. And I used my digital camera this time :cool:

This is it before I put faces on them...because I was torn between leaving it like that, or attempting the faces and possibly run the risk of screwing it up.

But, in the end I decided to try...

And while I'm still not totally happy, I think this is the very smallest improvement from last time. I have a particularly hard time with Andrew's face in this pic because his smile is a little strange and his eyes are incredibly hard to draw.
