I was (Educated, ha ha) taught to read during the sixties. I was dyslexic, and found reading tedious and boring. The teachers failed me badly, for it was my mother that took me in hand, through her and our local library, I found Narnia and then Middle-Earth. I still remember the day, when after finishing The Last Battle, and asking at the library for more Narnia, I was told sorry sonny that's it. I was devastated. The LIbrarian gave me a book that she said was similar, it was called The Hobbit. Where did you go after Narnia?

P.S I took all my grandchildren to watch the film (marvelous). I gave my 11 yr old Grand-Daughter, the complete Chronicle of Narnia today................

P.P.S Thank You Clive Staples Lewis.

wow! that was awesome! um....I guess I just went on reading fantasy after Narnia. I still need to get through LoTR and the Hobbit, though........

I don't think he means it literally...more like he travelled to Narnia through the books.

I did that too, and I was also devastated when I finished book seven =(.

I returned to the magical world of Hogwarts - for the millionth time - after I finished Narnia...
