Ages of Characters

How old do you think Eustace and Jill were in the book? In the BBC version they were cast as teenagers but the illustrations in the book made them seem about 10 maybe 12 years old. Stupid people confusing me.......

I think they're about 11 to 12; they're childrens books so young children should be the main characters.
 
Well

Maybe not, Maybe they have more. My grandpa gave me hte bopoks and I saw that Jill is tall and Eusteace is tall too. Maybe they have 13 or 14, you know maybe the same age that Edmund or more.
 
I think Eustace is younger than Lucy-- does it say that somewhere in VDT? I can't remember... anyways, it would make sense because if Eustace was the same age as Edmund that would mean he couldn't go into Narnia again because he was too old.

And I'm guessing Jill is supposed to be the same age as Eustace.
 
Eustace can not be the Lucy's age. let's Suppose Edmund is thirteen, Eustace would be 12. He can't be just 10 or 9 years, he looks older than Lucy. And someone here said he would be too old to go Narnia... well, we must remember that Peter had 16 years when he was in Narnia the last time. So, Eustace and Jill are youngers than Peter but not too old to go Narnia.
