Any pictures of Reepicheep yet?

Reep is the character I'm most nervous about. I was here a long time ago angsting over Aslan and Lucy - turned out I was worried for naught - but I'm still a worrywart, and I do hope Reep turns out looking cool. And I do hope the movie producers remember that he's a mouse, not a rat. ;) I loved his gallantry in the book, and I can't wait to see him bow and wield his sword - and I especially can't wait to see his conversation with Aslan! :)

I agree. Reepicheep is my favorite character of the whole Narnia series. I also hope they don't make him a rat but I also hope they don't make him so small that he could do no damage in battle. Doesn't the book say something to the effect that he's between 1-2 feet tall? Anyone remember exactly?

Reepicheep is supposed to be about 2 feet in height and weigh in at about 40-50 pounds. I'm really interested in who will do the voice over for this CG character.

I loved how they did Reep's voice for the audio book CD's. I was thinking it'd be really neat if whoever did his voice for them could do it for PC and Dawn Treader.

^I know. Although I always defend the BBC's, PC was a mess. Reep was bad. I didnt mind Truffle. but, the casting was horrible and they skipped alot of parts from the book. and my favorite part too. the Bacchus and Silenus part.

If you thought Reep was bad in the BBC version you might not be too happy with who's playing Nikabrik, because it's the same guy, Warrick Davis. I thought he did fine in the BBC version. The mouse costume was as good as they could do at the time.

I have a feeling that they won't want to release much info if they can help it on the movie. It's gonna be tough because information is being leaked to the Narnia websites left and right and they're gonna want some suspense or some things for people to look forward to here and there. I doubt that they're gonna want to let Reepicheep "out of the bag" early if they can help it. He might get leaked out...but I'm not gonna bank on it.

I always imagined Reepicheep as a gray mouse who wears a Musketeer hat and brandishes a rapier.

Me too.

I didn't like the voice of Reep in the BBC either. I didn't mind the costume *I could bleep that out of my mind, close my eyes, imagine a better one*. But I couldn't do anything with his voice, and it drove me nuts-o!
