I don't tend to look forward to the battle scenes really. I want to see Lucy in the woods with Aslan and see the kids come to be able to see him one at a time. However, the fight between Peter and Miraz is the biggest deal in the book so it needs to be in there. Nikabrik didn't fight Caspian alone so much...Peter, Edmund, and Trumpkin crashed that party and if I remember correctly no one knew who killed Nikabrik between them because the lights were knocked out.

that's true about Nikabrik; I didn't vote that option. :D I am curious as to how they'll do the trees moving (Or as the book described it) wading through the ground.

*Gaspeth* I'm really lookinf forward to Peter Vs Miraz.

Wish there'd be a Peter Vs Caspian. That'd be interesting.

Oh, and I can't wait for the bit when Edmund walks down to King Miraz's camp looking all Lordly and powerful. But I guess that doesn't go in this dicussion.

I can`t wait to see the battle between Peter and Miraz. To be honest I just can`t wait to see the whole book come to life on the big screen for the first time. It`s going to be AMAZING! :D

Miraz and my KING PETER!!!!! Yayyyy!!!

I hope AA would give us the amazing battle like The battle at Ford Beruna in LWW...not Miraz vs Peter in BBC's PC version.... I'm sorry..but it was quite lame

I want to watch as the trees come upon the Telmarine army. And I hope they do a better tree god/goddess than in the first movie.

MrBob

Peter vs Miraz is more epic and devastating than just Caspian's and Nikabrik. I wanna see the part when the Trees come alive and fight.

As a formal duel, the Miraz/Peter fight would have more potential for high drama on the screen (and it is a dramatic segment of the book). Any fight between Caspian and Nikabrik would necessarily be an add-in, since most of the fight happened in pitch darkness and nobody really knew who killed Nikabrik. Of course, I don't imagine they'll stick to that in the film - a small battle like that is just too tempting not to portray. Of course, they could throw out the fight in Aslan's How altogether, since it's such a minor part of the story, but I hope they don't.

Oh no! I don't want them to throw out the fight in Aslan's How! That would be devestating!(sp?) Seriously, they have to explain the disappearing of Nikabrik and the Hag, and the Werewolf somehow. And they can't just say that they got chased away--that fight must be in there! Maybe not a lot of time, but when the fight begins and then a little bit in darkness (its been done in other movies) and then the end of the fight!

I voted Peter vs. Miraz. I really liked that scene in the book.

i agree. they cant just take out the fight

Peter Vs. King Miraz obviously. It's the most important piece of the book, considering one of them die.

I can't remember if Miraz does or not.

Peter vs. Miraz is the important one, so I voted for that. But I bet they willl make the fight in Aslan's How really dramatic and scary, because the werewolf and the witch will be there. It will probably be kind of llike some gruesome battle in LOTR, which would be good.

I agree with Mr. Bob, though, that the scene of the tree people attacking should be good -- and it will be very disappoiting if they just look like the one dryad we saw in LWW; it was hard to tell she was really a person. The ones which scare the Telmarines away will have to look more forceful, at very least.

Well, I say the most awaited would be Peter VS Miraz.

Anyway, and remembering that Narnia is more adapted (and addressed) to children, though many adults and yougnsters like it, I hope great music and some gorgeous movements of the combatants from both Telmarines and Narnians.

That is, because Narnia would never be adapated to the violence of other great and better epics like LOTR, Braveheart, Gladiator, Joan of Arc and 300.
(Remember, the only amount of blood that was seen in Narnia was the dry line that marked Edmund's lips. Also, the way blood was also pronounced but not with a grim feeling and intention. And something else, though there were some really gorgeous scenes and cries... what's the difference between the demises of these mythological creatures, even monsters (altough the fauns, satyrs and specially centaurs have more 'humanized' faces, but still you can't watch them die) and the deaths of humans? (That was the reason of LOTR about why many orc deaths were shown, but not many of those humans like Gondorians, Rohirrim, Easterlings and Haradrim... if you watch their eyes at the moment of their death is something that should make the movie R rated... and I'd still watch it).

That's something about I and my brother go for.

According to the mentioned above, I see clearly edited and adapted for PG-13viewing those beheading scenes and stabs, among the battle, and when the werewolf and the hag are killed. (At least they can put a glimpse of the hag's head when it rolls down... and a really painful and piercing cry).:D

Besides, what I look for to see is when Aslan roars and opens the gate, and how it will look Cair Paravel ruined. And obviously, if in the movie there will some flashback of the Telmarine's past.

I have said it.
