Beyond the Dead Forest (good book for Narnia fans)

What is it? Please give a description ... I don't have time to chase the link ...

Thanks!

It's about these friends, Carter and Kat, who find a dead forest outside of their town that wasn't there last time. When they enter in, they meet this being called The Guardian who sends them on a journey to find a treasure that could help the people of Dearth, who are suffering under the oppression of an evil person known as the Adversary. I enjoyed reading it.

Ooh, sounds exciting! I must read it.:D

*adds to now-growing list of things to read* :D

I have no opinion yet for or against this particular book, but I know what B-King is getting at. Too many C.S. Lewis wanna-be's have written mediocre Christian fantasy novels which stick too close to parallelling the Gospel events; they're actually afraid of having too much imagination, of being too original. So you have Susej of Therazan dying on a triangle and rising again on the fifth day. And the reader asks, "Why bother?"

I will check it out ... If you enjoyed it, WW, it must have some spark. Thanks!

CF, I totally have that tendency in my own work! :(
