I heard there is this bonus bit of footage about 30 seconds into the credits. Could you tell me what it is? And if possible, does anyone know where I could find a clip of it?

Yeah Lucy goes to take another look in the wardrobe and then from behind her, the Professor goes."You won't get back in that way" *walks over to Lucy* "You see I've already tried" Lucy: Will we ever go back? yeah I forget what the prof says next apart from "best keep your eyes open" And then shot of wardrobe door opening slightly, light and smoke comes out and we hear Aslan's roar.

Well, if people had the sense to stay for the credits, which can be very interesting (style -HP 3 and 4-, names, locations, songs not heard in the film elsewhere-the ones nominated for Oscars-, etc), they would find "goodies." In Harry Potter 2, there was a hilarious clip of Lockhart at the end, for Harry Potter 4, there was, for those who read the stuff, something like "No dragons were harmed in the making of this film," and of course, in LWW, the Lucy/Professor/Aslan/Wardrobe bit.
Moral of the story: STAY FOR THE CREDITS!!!!!!!! :D

Yea, I knew about the clip when the school I work at took kids to see the movie. The credits start rolling and everybody gets up and I'm like "Sit back down, ya'll, if we wait a few seconds, there's more!"

I always like to stay for the entire credits (for movies I like) for several reasons.
1. sometimes there's something "extra" in the middle or at the very end of the credits
2. It helps me appreciate all the effort that went into making the film. All of these names I'm looking at had something to do with the creating of the film. So, even if they don't know I'm reading there names, and even if I don't know who these people are, I consider it an homage, or a courtesy. (Though I don't expect everybody else to stay)
and
3. The music at the end usually repeats themes from the movie, and for me it acts as a sort of recap of the film. I always feel like I'm interrupting the film if I leave while credits are still rolling.

Dragon! I have not seen you in a long time. Maybe we are just posting in different threads. Good to see you, any way.

And yes, it was very annoying when I saw Narnia in the cinema how everyone jumped up and started walking out while I was trying to watch the bit at the end. Then when the bit started, people stood right in front of me in the aisle (as I was still seated, trying to watch the movie!). Everyone should watch the credits.

I know I'm horrible since all the mods are posting in here but...since we answered the original question, and this has been brought up in the movie discussion thread, and is can be talked about on the dvd thread. I'm going to lock this one. ilock.
