Okay, I read it! Kudos for the historical trivia! Only, I was not quite sure whether the pseudonym was used by the historical politician, or by his niece.

Looking down that page to the next item, you are exactly correct in correcting Ben Child. As you say, Tilda Swinton is a _wonderful_ actress -- but Mister Lewis did just fine using _other_ evils in his other books.

I see that you also allude to the idea some people get, that the White Witch and the Green Witch are one and the same identical person. But the burden of proof is entirely on the shoulders of those who contend that they _were_ intended by Mister Lewis to be one and the same. As I once remarked in a letter to Douglas Gresham, if the White Witch did not _stay_ dead after Aslan killed her, that would contradict His omnipotence as Almighty God.
