okay, I'm CT crazy, anyone and everyone on here knows that. But this isn't a CT site much less a CT fan fiction site and it's getting to the point where people seem to think it is and are joining just to add to that part of it. And it's begun to get me a little unhappy. I want this to be a site for everything, not just Narnia, but defiantly not just CT.

If you really really really love reading/writing the Celtic Thunder fanfiction let me please direct you to two places

I love that girls are interested in the group and are writing about it, but really, it belongs there...

*sigh* I know there is another thread for ranting... but I needed to get this out.
 
I just hope you don't get caught up in the bitter war amongst the fans. I really, really don't.

OK. I'm mad right now. I'm REALLY mad. I feel really betrayed right now and I know I shouldn't post this but can't you guys see IT'S NOT A STINKIN PROBLEM?!?!?!?! People over react and I currently hate TDL. HATE HATE HATE.

W..what the heck? It's a group of singers. W..no.. I don't know, it's not my realm, that's for sure.. but could someone explain to this storycrafter how to write a fanfic from a band?

Just take the people in the band a write stories about that them. It used to be amazingly fun. Guess THAT went down the drain.
 
I've hardly even listened to CT. I've only heard them on TV, when my mom is folding laundry and needs something to watch. I don't see what sets them apart from other Irish groups, such as Celtic Woman... or any other music group, for that matter. I'm not saying I have a problem with so many people on TDL liking CT, but when every other thread is a CT fanfic based on them...?
 
Come on guys!! Mags is right! I personally am not a fan of CT but absolutely DON'T HATE them at all. I think it's amusing many people love them :D I mean I can drive people insane with my Eric Lindros and Hockey crazyness. So you won't hear me complain ;)
 
I'm sorry I made you mad kitty. I'm not saying you can't talk about other things. I love having people on here I can talk about CT stuffs with. Really I do.

I just want you to have a place to post them that's made just for posting them.
 
Maggie, I wouldn't have posted those sites. Why? Because it shouldn't be an issue. The people who posted in that other thread need to get over themselves. You know what, there is a forum attached to theForce.net, of which I'm a member. Most of the stories ARE STar Wars, because it's a STar Wars forum. There is a place for non-SW fanfic, but I hardly read either section. So, if it's a problem for somebody, then they should go somewhere else or just ignore those threads! I don't read the CT fics because I'm not into it.

Sheesh, can people on this forum get anymore ridiculous/petty/immature? If I was a mod I'd be locking these complaint threads, honestly. :rolleyes: (there is a reason I'm NOT a mod. ;) )
 
*sigh* you're right, I know.I have this urge to try and make EVERYONE happy. When someone is upset I try and make them happier, but then I end up making more people upset. It's difficult. If you want to ask a mod to lock it feel free. It was kind of an impulse making :eek:
 
No, no, no, don't take that the wrong way. I wasn't getting onto you; you were posting something you thought would be beneficial to the forums, but the fact of the matter is: the issue shouldn't have been raised at all! The gripers are the ones who need to get a life. Or go somewhere else. Y'all just keep on writing your fanfictions because I know what it's like to write a story about something you love or enjoy. There is nothing wrong with it...and people just need to get over themselves. Instead of trying to control and gripe about everything, why don't they just ignore it? They act like it's going to kill them to even see Celtic thunder in a title. Just because this is a Narnia forum doens't mean it's strictly Narnian. Sometimes, the non-Narnian fanfic is BETTER than the Narnia fanfiction. More often than not it is.

I think it is incredibly sweet of you to have posted the links Maggie, no one needs to take it to mean that they have to move their FFs over there and not post them here anymore, it gives them an opportunity to share their fics elsewhere and to read even more CT fics. I'm sorry this thread became somewhere to complain but I'm sure no one meant to make you upset.
