I'm not sure if this allowed, or whther it's appropriate, bt like your current mood thread this is..well the title says it. If you dont pray to God, then what are you hoping for? wishing for?

Well I pray to God about all of my problems and sorrows...but right now, Im just hoping to make it by through the rest of my summer job.
 
God,
Help me understand how important it is to trust that Your way is the best way. I often try to do things my own way, but it doesn't work out. I don't want to live my whole life in distress just because I only chase my own desires. Please give me strength and willingness to do Your Will.

I pray for the couage to do what I have to when time coms. That no feelings surge back at me to make me stop. I want all the reasons, bottled up now, nd at the moment when the tme is right, I want it to rush at me, and hit me. Fill me with adrenaline. God, I feel like what I had felt this morning was just a taste of what I wil feel. I'm hangin on to that, and thank you for that. I'll try to have faith in myself, but I definetly do have fath in you.
 
Well I pray for faith and protection and other things, but like Crimson Sand, what I hope for can sometimes be something different than what I pray for.

I hope I'll stay good friends with all the great people that I met this summer!
 
Umbrella, you should know by now that there is no one for whom I pray more than I do for you. Whatever it is that requires your adrenaline, I pray that you will in fact be following God's genuine will. I don't know what it is you are expecting to do, nor do I say that you are planning anything wrong; but I can't forget that you are young, and that the prophet Jeremiah warned that the heart is deceptive. I have known persons far older than you to be tricked by their own emotions, as the emotions became so insistent as to be mistaken for guidance from God. So I pray that you will take only such actions as God would ACTUALLY want you to take--that you would act in a way that promotes your truest well-being, rather than gratifying any wrong or unwise desire on your part or anyone's part.
