Dawn Treader Possible Poster?

So if you've been to the site Flixster where you can rate movies there is a poster for Voyage of the Dawn Treader when you search Narnia.

Here it is:

It looks like some one did Photoshop or GIMP on it. And besides the pics are from LWW and they are too young looking. Are much older now than in LWW.
 
I don't think it's an official one. Who knows, if it is, it's not a good one at all. As yall said, it's got pics in it from LWW and the Dawn Treader doesn't look so good in it...well, not as good as I'd have expected for the movie poster.
 
It isn't. For one thing Eustace isn't cast yet, and as it is about him as much as the others he would be on the poster. And 2 the images are from LWW and one of the book covers.
 
Another thing that doesn't make it an official poster is that is to early for them to throw out a teaser poster and it probably would feature just a ship or the sea without any characters showing.

Here is the book cover they used to paste the images of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe on.

It's really obvious that that's not an official poster. Again, it looks like a five minute GIMP or PSP job. Interesting, I never imagined Aslan as blue in DT....

Ha! Absolutely not.

  1. Book's cover. What make's you think they'd use that for the movie poster?
  2. Isn't even in the works.
  3. Peter and Susan in Dawn Treader?
  4. Doesn't show Eustace.
  5. Horribly made. Aslan's face is positioned wrong, and the renders of the characters are taken from LWW. Otherwise, Lucy and Edmund would look older. Professionals would never use blurring like that in their work.

I do hope the poster will ultimately look something like that. The Dawn Treader has to be central to the poster. Maybe they can show Caspian, Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, and Reep walking onshore (such as on Felimath), show a dragon in the air and have a sea monster in peeking its head above the water.

In my opinion, with the images of the characters changed to refelct the book, the image shown would be a perfect teaser poster.

I know it isn't the official poster but I like the sense of mystery it gives.
But the real poster will be out of this world. I mean who could have imagined the Prince Caspian poster?
Besides those that made it that is :p
