Did anyone know Eragon actor audition for Peter Pevensie?!!!

I thought I might just post it here (apologise if its been mentioned already), on Ed Speelers site, he said he auditioned for the part of Peter Pevensie and lost out to the one and only William Moseley, I thought I just like to share it with you.. comments?

During the time we were performing the Crucible, the school had a visitor who would make a decision that eventually would give me my big break. It was the casting director for Narnia, Pippa Hall. Pippa put me forward for the part of Peter in Narnia. After the auditions the part of Peter was between me and another boy. Eventually William Peter Moseley won the part.

In the end everything is great - William is a great Peter and now Ed has the chance to prove himself as Eragon.

It seems to me that Pippa Hall has a VERY limited phone book... honestly she hasn't been looking very hard. I mean that in the nicest possible way....

I agree. I wouldn't want Ed Speleers to play Peter, but I wouldn't mind if William played Eragon.
