Dorothy L. Sayers fans?

I know Dorothy L. Sayers wasn't actually an Inkling, per se, but she was good friends with several of them, including Lewis himself, so I'm hoping this thread will be considered appropriate here.

I'm currently rereading her Lord Peter Wimsey stories, and wondering if there are any other Sayers fans on this forum. I personally think Sayers' mystery stories are the epitome of the genre.

I know she also wrote some other stuff besides the Wimsey stories (and in fact we read her translation of Dante's Divine Comedy in one of my lit classes in college). I'm just particularly interested in finding other fans of her mysteries because I'm reading them right now.

So, any of you out there?

Sayers is too cool! She belonged to a detective writer's club along with G.K. Chesterton of Father Brown fame. A very lucid and well-educated writer. Tolkien didn't like her, but then, there wasn't much that Tolkien liked. Sometimes I think the word "crochtey" was invented for ol' Tollers.
