End Battle???

I was wondering, In this film, is there going to be an end battle like that off LWW?? is there gonna be a LotR type batte in every film? leading up to the TLB?

There is a brief disturbance at the end of PC, but it's over quickly; and there aren't any battles in VDT, SC or MN. You might get one in HHB where there is a small battle (just a couple of hundred a side) at Anvard, and there is one in LB which I suspect might get scaled up a little from the book.

Yeah, It's a battle between Miraz and Peter, but I'm wondering if they might change it to Miraz and Caspian. It'd make sense. I don't expect a huge battle, but they tweaked alot of things in LWW so I don't know. They might tweak ALOT of things in PC.

Don't expect a huge battle? Goodness, folks, Caspian contains the Second Battle of Beruna! The monomarchy between Peter and Miraz deteriorates into a full-scale battle, which is ended by the trees showing up on the Narnian side. Sure, there's a big battle. It's Dawn Treader, Silver Chair, and Nephew that don't have battles in them.

I agree, the battles should be made a bit bigger in the books.

MN, SC, VDT, don't have battles though. Here's how i think the battles should be-

LWW- (already complete)
Prince Caspian- Peter and Miraz fight, and then it's about 2000 narnians against 10000 Telmarines. The narnians start to lose and then the trees come and they win.

Horse and his boy- About 50 Archenlanders and 200 narnians against 200 Calormenes. (Be sure to show the scene where the calormene prince is humiliated)

Last battle- Make it so Roonwit's army survived. There should be about 40 narnians versus 60 Calormenes.

What do you guys think?

I always thought LB should have ended with Calormenes and Tash chasing Tirian and Co into the new Narnia where Peter and co swoop down Armageddon Battle style from there.

(dead pause.........) why?

That's not how it was written, and the old Narnia ends up getting destroyed anyways. Besides, it'll be funny if they have Peter and the others scare Tirian and Jewel by accident!! I would laugh. I love the LB. It is my favorite, tied with LWW. And HAHB is 2nd!!

.What do you you meanhTheORKINMan???Are you sayin you wanted the Calomenes to win?im confused.

Im going to really mad i mean really mad if they change it to Caspian and Miraz in there little sword duel :(

Why would they change it? Aren't they gonna stay true to the books? And it's written as Peter and Miraz, right? So then it shouldn't get changed.

This sounds good, if Roonwit and the army get involved -- it would make it a bigger scale battle like LWW and LOTR.

i don't think they will change the hand to hand so it's Caspian instead of Peter, I think it will be Peter.

Im sure it will, be and we must remember that Andrew Adamson wants to stay as close to the book as possible, so he can fufill the narnia fans expectations.

I for one would like to see the battles smaller in number ( with the PC one actually the exception, it should be prety big). I mean ever since LOTR weve seen mega huge epic battles. I say trim the number of combatants down, make the battles more "intimate."

I think that's one of the things about the movies. IN LWW, the battle was HUGE in the movie, but in the book, we see very little actual battle. Aslan shows up and about a page later, the battle is over. Also, about TLB, I don't think that would be good to have Roonwit survive. The whole point of the battle in TLB is that Tirinian knows that he's about to die, but he'd rather fight for his life for Narnia, than let Calormen take over his land. The battles are always larger in the movie. That's what's gonna make TLB, HahB, and PC so good, the Disney and Walden people are going to make the battles huge. I aso want to see VoDT, because there's so much action and character development. SC is going to be awesome, just because the giants and Underworld. Magician's Nephew is going to be cool because of Charn and the creation of Narnia and see how they make the ring journey go. So pretty much all of the movies will ROCK!

I am really looking forward to the fight between Miraz and Peter. Because Peter was king for about ten years, they can really make the fight worthwhile! Just think about it! It could be really detailed!

Im looking forward for that duel. I loves Peter and the Wicth's duel in the book and movie ( even though in the book tis not much explained but still)
And this one will be great cant wait!:)

Are you sure that there will be a film about all the parts of Narnia?

I thought Disney only "promished" that ther would be a film about Prince Caspian.

Ok, the film LWW was very good, but what if the films are so the same in style that the public (I mean you have Narnia Fans and Narnia Fans) gets bored.

If that happens there won't be any more films.

The same thing happened with the Matrix (opinion of the public):
-The first part was cool
-The second part was nice, but a bit cloned.
-The third part was ok, but still very the same like the other films.

When the new thing of the Matrix was gone public get bored, and they were going to like the movies less and less.

The Matrix had three parts, and the money staid coming in, but what happens with seven parts of Narnia?

(about the matrix I liked all the three parts, but the first part was the best)

In Prince Caspian there is the longest battle of all the parts of the Chronicles of Narnia.

First Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy get to Narnia.
There they meet a dwarve and it looks out to be that there is and partly was this battle going on:

-First they are fighting and it's not going well for the Old Narnians. (In the movie this will be very exciting I think). Then Caspian, the leader (sure) of the army, takes the decision to blow on the horn of Susan (there is a hope that by blowing the horn Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy or Aslan will come). At that moment Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter will be cakked by magic.
-Before that Caspian had send messengers to Cair Paravel and to Lantern Waste. The dwarf is one of them.
-Then there is the very exciting travel to Aslan's how in which the Pevencies almost are killed by the arrows from the Telmarines. And where Lucy sees Aslan and here sister and brothers not.
- If they come to Aslans how they see Aslan. Peter, Edmund and the dwarve are going into Aslans how where They'll meet Caspian (and two of his friends), a traitor, a witch and a werewolf. The last three want to call alive again the White Witch, but Caspian doesn't want that so he and his two friends have a battle with the werewolf, the witch and the traitor. They are losing the battle when Peter, Edmund and the dwarve come in and help. The werewolf, the traitor and the witch are killed (however this happens in darkness and the public won't see everything, but it's possible the movie might be else). In the meantime Aslan, Lucy and Susan are going to Beruna where they cause a lot of chaos and where there is a groep of boys who turn into pigglets and where a man turns into a tree.
- Then the Battle of Beruna is near. First Peter challenges Mirax for a duel. The duel comes, but in Miraz' armee are two traitors who kill Miraz and say Peter is a traitor, so a bigger Battle begins. Peter is almost killed, ALMOST. A battle begins, but it won't be long. The trees are coming alive again. And the Telmarines become frightened. They flee to Beruna, but the bridge there has been destroyed by Aslan and his friends. The Telmarines are afraid of water so they don't flee further and are arrested by Aslan.
The battles are over after that, the Pevencies return tho earth and Aslan tells Peter and Susan that they are to old for Narnia and won't return.

Time to come home and have a lot of tears. :(

Prince Caspian is full of battles and action. We start out with the exciting sword fight between Edmund and Trumpkin, then we have a battle royal with Miraz and Caspian's armies (this is the point where Caspian blows Susan's horn). We also have the battle in Aslan's How and then the fight between Peter and Miraz and end with the great battle that defeats all of Miraz's army. You shouldn't want for action during this movie.

whoops, sorry puzzle you had already covered my points.
