All are great and magnifecent fantasy stories, and there are some from the others which are also great, as Shannara series by Terry Brooks for example. LotR is probably the first major famtasy epic, Narnia has the cosiest feeling, Harry Potter has a unique way in portraying the heroes growing and Eragon has the charm of all of the others. Still, I think that Star Wars maybe qualifies as best. I know that the Jedi teaching is camuflaged eastern paganism, but I think that the Jedi are not the absolute good of the series and that the main story is of a man, who becomes evil because of love and than becomes good, again for his love. For me the Jedi lost because they did not cared about anakin's love to Padme and then the Emperor lost because he underestimated vader's love to his son.
So star wars IMO has a great message , great plot, builds great universe... so I voted Star Wars. But I love the others as well.
 
seriously eh...and tn i tohught lotr was your favorite...pfaw! star wars! that;s funny! hey what about asoue(HA!it's funnier every time! ASOUE!)? i'm not a fan really but there are alot here....i would have tohught that than star wars...mehh
 
I only voted for one... since I've been a fan of the Harry Potter series from the first book and I only read the Narnia books two years ago, I voted Harry Potter. I'm a Potter-head and proud of it!
 
I voted for Narnia, Eragon, and Star Wars. Narnia is really inportant to me, so that comes first. Then comes Star Wars, which I have been familiar with since I was little. Then comes Eragon. I think the books are awesome, but it's not as important to me as Narnia or Star Wars.
 
I voted for all of them except Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, I really like Star Wars but the fantasy genre is much better in my opinion especially Narnia.
 
I saw Eragon last night :) It rocked the theater like crazy! (literally) Saphira had out-of-this-world great visual effects. Ed couldn't have been better. It was amazing! I also love Narnia, but Eragon is top
 
Obviously narnia has more votes because this is Narnia fans, people who go here are obviously madly in love with narnia (most of them anyway) Or forced by a friend to join! haha!

My Vote is for harry Potter!! :D

i sooooooooooooooo go with you on that one, appart from the fact i voted for naria, eragon, h.p. and lotr. i totally despise star wars though, i mean whats the point its just random ships flying around killing people!
