i was just wondering if there was any flaws in me writing a fan fic about lucy and corin - i imagined corin, cor and aravis to be around fifteen, and since HHB happened during the golden age of narnia, i thought i had no reason not to think that lucy was around the same age as corin, cor and aravis
 
You might be a bit more accurate if you portrayed Lucy as just a few years older, as she seems to be in the story. Remember, she refers to him as "his goosecap highness" at the council of war, and seems to see him more as a spunky if troublesome boy than as any kind of an equal. My guess is that there would be at least 5 years difference in age between them, and probably more like seven or eight.
 
oh....that's a bummer.....are you sure that could have been just some friendly teasing...between...well, friends....that are closer in age? maybe?
 
Well, obviously you can do whatever you want if you're writing your own story, but if you want to keep it reasonably congruent to the original, those are your constraints. Remember, Susan wasn't that much older than Lucy - maybe 3-4 years, no more than 5 - and Susan was something like a surrogate mother to Corin after his mother died. Now, if Susan's old enough to act like a mother, than I doubt if Corin's going to be getting - er - involved with someone just a few years younger. Besides, Corin is quite young at the time of Horse (maybe 12, more likely 10 or 11) and far more interested in battles than girls.
