I lost hope, looking.
I gave up and went to you.
I let you in, you demon.
Demon or devil, you played my mind.
Mind of matter, matter over myself.
Myself weak but still able.
Able to say whether I truly let you take over.
Take over me or wish you away.
God is here by my side.
No matter what, so go away.
Demon or devil of mine.

NOTE: Sorry some of my poetry might not make any sense of have errors in it. I just write how I feel most the time or try to relate to others in other ways.
 
It makes perfect sense to me. There ARE demons in life, often metaphorical ones, occasionally ACTUAL ones. But Jesus is more powerful than all of them put together.
 
Oh ok that is good. It made sense to you. Yeah also true about what you said as well.

That's funny! It reminds me of a very short animated novelty film from decades ago, called "Bambi Meets Godzilla," which simply shows a cute little deer grazing -- till it suddenly gets stepped on by Godzilla.
 
Thanks! Lol that is funny I have to look that up sometime. I made this poem a very long time ago but never wrote it down on paper or my comp. Just it never went away had it in my mind to be honest.
