Okay, I know filming started this month, and Production last month, but there is no thread about htat yet. So, this is the official discussion thread for the Filming of Prince Caspian!
 
Filming Pictures

Hi all,
my name is Steven and I am living in Queenstown, New Zealand at the moment and I visited the set of the Filming today and took some pictures.
I am not a Fan but I thought its gonna be interesing for you.
Sorry I only took some because most of the filming was done in the Forest.

WHAT!!! You saw the film crew!? Amazing! You are just plain LUCKY!! Send some of those pictures to Narniaweb.com or NarniaFans.com's leaders!
 
This is just so exciting! To know that they have started filming...that they're actually making Prince Caspian right now...that next year,it will be here!
And the pics..WOW!Who's that riding on the horse?

That's great. :D I'm exicted in knowing that they are filming for the next movie... Man, this is awesome. We just wish them good luck so they can do something better for the movie and they might will. Let's just wish them good luck and Blessings, so they can be good in health.

Well, the most of the shooting was done in the Forest, I could go in there because it was all closed area ! There where lots of people like filming crew etc. But there where almost no tourist only the ones who are passing by and this is like a secret place so not a lot of people know where that is.
Its called the Paradies.

Sorry I only had my little Digital Camera with me if I would have a better one with zoom I could have given you more pictures.
Some people got ready as well for the fighting scence there were like training with sticks and than there where a lot of horse riders.

thats so cool! i wanna go to nz!!! you mean you couldn't go in cuz it's was a closed area.

Along those lines... sort of!

A few questions for those of you who have been around the Narnian block a few times where the movies are concerned:

When is Prince Caspian due to hit theaters?

Are the actors consistant from the last movie (if their characters appear, of course)?

Are they planning on eventually making a film of all seven books in the same fashion?

And finally.... WHERE CAN I GO TO AUDITION? heh, sorry, had to ask.

I can answer all of those:
1. May 16, 2008, and comingsoon.net has reported a May 14 world premier.
2. Yes, the four Pevensies, but that's it.
3. Yes, though in the order that C.S. Lewis wrote them and not in chronological order (time order).
4. You can't. They've finished all the casting, and right now we're just waiting to see who got which part.
 
Actually Liam is returning as the voice of Aslan as well. There's debate over wether or not it will be the 16th or 18th for release. They might switch around the movie order from the straight publication release with MN and HHB, but nothing is set in stone to my knowledge. And then for PC the casting has been done with the exception of some extras...so maybe for one of the next movies you can look into auditioning. There are threads that talk about that on the forum though. Check them out.

Thanks Steven for the pics. Didn't you say on NW that the girl on the horse is Georgie? Who did you ask about that again?

Don't worry, the questions are film related. I think it's easy for some old members to forget that some of the members posting are newer to the forum and aren't aware of the other threads all over the place that answer those questions. It's good to look around and see if the questions you have are answered in various threads, but if you don't see it...ask away. We can either give you straight answers or send you to the threads that answer those questions...and let you join the debates and conversations. We like hearing what others have to say about the topics on the forum...that is what keeps the Dancing Lawn dancing. Besides, once most of us have thrown in our 2 cents, it can be nice to get another person's perspective. Glad you're here.
